Fortunately, with the DNxHD codec developed by Avid, you can create mastering-quality HD media at dramatically reduced file sizes in real-time HD productivity. Here, a simple solution in hand called Pavtube Video Converter for Mac/Windows (support Mac OS X El Capitan ), which can easily generate DNxHD codec from XDCAM EX MP4 files produced by all Sony cameras or camcorders for high performance and high quality editing in Avid Media composer.

Besides Sony XDCAM EX MP4 files, the program also facilitates you to transcode other unsupported file formats such as MTS , MP4 , XAVC S , etc to DNxHD for fast and fluid post video editing.
